DASSA Chess Championship Round 1
On 20th November 2024, Jumeirah College in conjunction with Chess Knowledge Dubai proudly hosted the DASSA Chess Championship Round 1, a prestigious event that brought together 65 students from 13 schools across Dubai. The competition followed the Swiss Format with a time control of 5 minutes plus a 1-second increment, ensuring fast-paced and thrilling matches.

The Jumeirah College students were thrilled when they were announced as winners of this year's DASSA Secondary Chess tournament.

Al Kiraam Al Bararaah
Hundreds of questions were sent to NASA, 20 were selected. These 20 students had the opportunity to ask their questions to astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
