As well as being a part of the Jumeirah College community, each student is a member of one of our four Houses: Fihri, Majid, Gibran and Sina. There are two equal halves to the cohort, each with a form group for each House. The House Captains are Year 13 students by appointment, following a rigorous selection process. In each year group there are also House Representatives who work with the House Captains to coordinate whole College events as well as their own year group specific events. Each house has a staff leader called the Head of House, who is responsible for the organisation and programme of events across the academic year.
In addition to Year and Whole College assemblies, regular house assemblies take place each term coordinated by the student leaders.

Hey Everyone, welcome to the best house amongst them all, Fihri!
Our Fihri House colour is green and our proud mascot is the Green Fihri Dragon! Our Namesake is Fatima Al Fihri, an inspirational woman who opened the world's oldest university, Al-Qarawiyyin ! And remember our motto is ‘Vim Et Ambitionem’ which means Force and Ambition spread the word!
At Jumeirah College many house activities are run all year round that you can look forward to; the Float your Boat competitions, a variety of inter house sports competitions, the green fashion show, Pi day and much more. All of these events are opportunities to earn house points and we can't wait for you to get involved too! We need your help to get to number #1!
